The Oriental Hotel Legazpi - A wonderful experience!

Even if The Oriental Hotels and Resort is just situated near my place, I am still dying to have a luxurios feel-like stay at the said hotel. And well, I think I can say that I am so LUCKY enough to be one of the chosen winners on their Facebook contest which just ended last June. The contest had three phases. I am also so desperate on winning that I never gave up even if I lost at the first and the second phase of the contest. The third phase would be the last and I told myself that I have to give my best shot. The mechanics were just easy, you just have to answer the question, "Why do you deserve a Legazpi City tour?" And luckily I GOT IT. FINALLY! Actually I was aiming for the 3 days and 2 nights stay at the said hotel but maybe God thought that it'll be too much so He just gave us an overnight stay. But still we are very thankful for that. I won the audience award in the contest which gained my photo 2,108  likes as of the cut-off period. This was my winning piece and a proof that I won the contest.

My winning entry.

(If ever you think that I am just hallucinating, joking or whatsoever about the contest, please click on this proof.)

A room accommodation for two, breakfast for two, and a complimentary massage for two at their spa wasn't bad for a prize. :) I was really overwhelmed when the time that they announced the winners. But, enough of the drama!

We had our reservation August 5 - 6, 2012 at the hotel. We both agreed of that date because we will be celebrating our 8th year anniversary at the 6th of the said month. :) ♥♥♥ To make the story short, after we left  Hotel St.Ellis at around 4:30 we went to The Oriental Hotel and these are the things that we experience. Let me start from the first photo that I've taken that day at the said hotel. :)

The bathroom door. Sorry, wasn't really impressive as for the first photo :D. Haha :(

The shower area. :) A lot of towels were provided.

The toilet.

Still inside the bathroom. Ofcourse. LOL

The comlimentary soap, shampoo, body lotion, cotton buds,  toothbrush and toothpaste.

The blower and mirror.

Bathrobes :D

The tv. Sorry for the photography :( I'm an amateur!

The gorgeous bed.

Perfect for workaholic.

The carpet. Floors were carpeted on the second  floor. Even outside the room. Nice

Safety box. Easy to use.

Ticket for buffet breakfast. Nom Nom.

Complimentary. :)

Mini Bar. Not free. :)

Inside the fridge. Mini bar drinks. Water is the only one which is free. :)

Cool!

Boyfriend :)

We arrived at the hotel at around 5:00 pm. After taking some pictures, my boyfriend and I took a short nap. And when we woke up we decided to swim because we were informed that swimming pool operates just up to 8pm only. When we went to the pool area it was a bit creepy cause we were the only ones who were there, it was also dark till we view a man from the kiosk heading its way to us, we were asking for the towel because we read in their policy that towels are provided when we go swimming, but unfortunately after a long wait, it wasn't given to us. But it was just ok. The towel wasn't really a big deal. The pool is what matters most. Haha. It is gorgeous and very wide.

The pool at night. :)

Cool infinity pool. Boiling! Haha

Haha. Sorry for the face! :D

Well. The infinity pool is so nice!

Beautiful

You can lie on it or sit on it. Nearby the pool.

Another pretty furniture.

The Oriental

After the swimming session we decided to dry ourselves first before we go back to our room because we were not provided by a towel. But it's ok. After we took our shower back from our room we both agreed to have our dinner at The Jasmine which is located at the ground floor of the hotel.

Yummy dinner.

It is also not our first time to dine-in  here. We had our 2012 valentine date at The Jasmine and that was memorable. This night was also memorable for us. The foods were great, it comes with big servings. (Please click here for my separate blog about Jasmine.) After we ate our adorable dinner we went to the front desk to ask for the complimentary massage that I won. We asked if it's ok to have the massage from 11:00pm to 12:00am. And it was been approved, but while waiting for the time (because we still have 15 minutes more) we decided to take some pictures. Hoho. Here are some of those... :)

And so it's time, it's time, it's time. Haha. I was really aiming to have a massage that night because I have a back pain. After taking some pictures, we went outside the hotel to go to their spa. Spa is located at the left side of the building. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take a photo of their signage due to some unknown reasons. Haha. Maybe I was just too excited to have the massage done and I remember I was saving the battery of my cam because it is almost low. Here are some photos that I can share.

Inside the spa.

Salabat before the massage.

Cool! :)

We were both at the same massage room. Cute :)

The massage was really great. The therapist were good and friendly. We had the Swedish massage that costs 700php -750php I think but  because I won the prize, we had it for free. Yehey! :D IT WAS AWESOME! We were very satisfied! Delighted! That ends our day 1 at The Oriental.

After a very nice sleep, it was time for us to wake up because it was a little bit too late to eat breakfast and it is only serve until 10:00am. Fortunately, we were just about on time. Breakfast was so great because it was a buffet. We ate a lot. Haha. Same venue, ofcourse, we ate our breakfast at The Jasmine. :) ( If you want to know more about the breakfast please click here to see my separate blog.)

It was our last day at the hotel and we want to make the most out of it. And the only way to express our enchantment at the hotel is to take lots and lots of pictures. LOL Here are the last blast of pictures that I'm gonna share. Haha :P

Left please.

Cool elevator. Touch!

Morning view.

The infinity pool. :)

Bad thing we weren't able to see the Mayon that day. It was foggy.

Always gorgeous.

You may swim in here even if you didn't checked-in. 300php for the regular rate  without towel and 350php with towel.

Electric door. Tit tit!

The view outside of our room. :)

Outside our room. The view.
